Weston Ranch Community NEWS

A nonprofit 501(c)3 Corporation (pending)
WELCOME TO A NEW WEBSITE FOR WESTON RANCH (Launch date 9/01/2014)!
WHO WE ARE:
Weston Ranch Community NEWS is a community nonprofit publication designed for the purpose of educting the local community of events, news, legislation, civic matters, and community functions. by promoting a heightened awareness as to what is current and up to date in the Weston Ranch Community.  The mission of the Community News is toCOMMUNITY AWARENESS help unite and organize all 78 units of Weston Ranch, and each 5600 homes. This process involves making our area safer by promoting the importance of Neighborhood Watch in every neighborhood, and protecting our homes and investment by ensuring each neighborhood (called “units”) are not experiencing reckless blight and gross negligence. Further, much like “Habitat-for-Humanity”, we are an outreach volunteer pubication here to assist those who need help in keeping their homes in compliance. The senior citizen, single parents, or handicap are especially in need: we reach out to help them and others by publicizing and promoting thier needs and volunteers. Finally, we are a group focused on uniting our community and one way we do that is by increasing the level of communication and fair reporting of issues related to Weston Ranch.

WHAT WE ARE:  Weston Ranch is a planned development with CC&R’s (Code Covenants and Restrictions) signed and agreed to by each property owner, and recorded with the Deed and title with the County Recorder’s Office (see list bottom of page). These basic rules are an agreement that all owners and renters have entered into. Each unit is specifically allowed to organize “committees” and nominate “Representatives” to help each neighborhood identify the problem areas, and if necessary assist those homeowners in need by granting reasonable variances or delaying code enforcement by enlisting community volunteers ready to help the neighbor come into compliance. The Weston Ranch NEWS mission is to assist with community organization and information, to help those residents in need, and to unite each unit into a centralized entity.

CC&R’s are STOCKTON CITY CODES:  Organizing neighborhoods is a good newsworthy idea so that neighbors can LOOK OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER and protect their investments!  Below are the Stockton City Codes. There are many benefits to getting our neighborhoods organized and finding common issues which unite as all.

The following Stockton City Codes are a large foundation of each Unit’s CC&Rs. You may view them at this link:  (http://qcode.us/codes/stockton/view.php?topic=8-8_36-8_36_040&frames=on)      All city codes found here: http://qcode.us/codes/stockton/view.php?topic=8&frames=on

GOAL(S):  Weston Ranch NEWS strives to communicate all voices and opinions and tie all this information here on this website.   Our goal is to improve the quality of life of the entire 78 unit subdivisions. With planned monthly news updates, polls, surveys,  our improved communication will help unite and form a common sense of community,

PROPERTY INFORMATION: THIS TABLE SHOWS EACH UNIT AND IF WE HAVE AN ELECTRONIC COPY OF YOUR CC&Rs.  WILL YOU HELP US OBTAIN THEM, SO THEY CAN BE PUBLICLY VIEWED?   THE TABLE ALSO SHOWS THE MOST RECENT PUBLIC FILING OF EACH UNIT’S CC&R (recorded with County Recorder).  THE TABLE SHOWS IF YOU HAVE A CC&R COMMITTEE AND/OR NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH ACTIVE IN YOUR UNIT.  THIS INFORMATION WILL SHOW UP ON AN INTERNET SEARCH OF YOUR STREET.
